Trading Terms

Ordering From Love Make Up:

Browse through our store and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Orders can only be sent to the billing address of the cardholder placing an order. All prices are inclusive of any applicable tax,  the price you see is the price you will pay.  To give all customers the opportunity to purchase popular products we operate a maximum purchase policy of 5 per shade.  Love Make Up reserve the right to cancel and refund orders.

Delivery schedule:

We process all orders within 24 hours. Where possible orders are shipped the same day and always within one working day, please allow 3-5 working days for delivery within the UK. 5-14 working days for Europe and 7-14 working days Rest of World.  Despatch is daily Monday-Friday within 24 hours.

Payment:

We accept online payment by PayPal and Sagepay safe online payments that allow payment with a credit or debit card. All payments are made to Love Make Up in £ GBP, the currency display is for conversion illustration in your local currency.  Love Make Up reserve the right to cancel and refund any order. Orders received with a different country billing address to the delivery address will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

Packaging:

At Love Make Up, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only HIGH quality, new materials for packaging and take great care to ensure that happens. We too buy online and can assure you no one takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive unuseable and damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out within one working day, free of any charge.  We are also environmently aware and believe that wasteful packaging is damaging to our environment.  We package pencils,  unboxed lipsticks and brushes in tough bubble lined envelopes with additional bubble wrap on the product.  All other products are packaged in sturdy mailing boxes,  with bubble wrap and loose fill packaging inside the box.  Your products will reach you in perfect condition on every order.

Deliveries to UK mainland (inc. Northern Ireland)

Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent first class and first class recorded. Heavier items may be sent by City-Link and will normally be insured for the full replacement value of the item. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance, Special Delivery or an expedited service please email the above for a quote before placing your order. Love Make Up reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. We use Royal Mail as our main carrier, any parcels that are reported not received are not considered lost by Royal Mail until 15 working days have passed since the date of despatch. Any discrepancies on your order need to be advised within 7 days of receipt.

Overseas & non-mainland UK:

For overseas and non-mainland UK deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging. Standard airmail is available at checkout for orders only under £39.00 to selected european locations. Orders above £39.00 do require additional insurance, international signed for service should be selected at checkout. Love Make Up reserve the right to cancel orders where standard airmail is selected for orders over £39.00. Where standard airmail is not available as an option at checkout to other european locations and worldwide locations your parcel will be sent by Royal Mail International Signed for service.  Love Make Up will not ship any parcel without the appropriate insurance requirement.  We do not ship to the USA or Canada. Parcels reported as not received are not considered lost by Royal Mail until 25 working days have passed since the date of despatch, we work with Royal Mail guidelines.  Any customs fees raised when sending outside of the EU are the responsbility of the buyer. Any discrepancies on your order need to be advised within 7 days of receipt.

Returns:

If you wish to return your item, you may cancel your order within 7 days following the date of delivery. We will make a refund,  Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return. All items returned must be unused/untested in re-saleable condition and complete with any manufacturer packaging it was supplied in.  All refunds are processed within 5 working days of notification of receipt of returned items.  Any item that is faulty must be reported to Love Make Up within 7 days of receipt of order.  We do not refund original or return postage charges unless the item received is damaged, or the item received is the incorrect product.

Parcels that are returned to us that have not been collected from post sorting offices will be sent back out to you, we will advise by email.  We will not send a replacement parcel until the non collected parcel has been received by us. Parcels returned to due to incorrect delivery information provided to us will either be refunded or re-send on their return, it is the responsibility of the buyer to provide correct delivery information, we shall not be held liable for any delays due to incorrect delivery information supplied to us.

Gift with Purchase offers:

Love Make up reserve the right to withdraw any gift with purchase or shipping offer at any time and are per order and not product.

Free shipping offers where applicable apply to UK and Standard Airmail only, during periods of promotion International Signed for Service is reduced by the same charge level of UK shipping and Standard Airmail, the amount deducted will be £2.95. 

Discount codes

All discount or promotional codes must be entered during checkout at the point of purchase. Customers receiving a professional discount are not permitted to use additional promotional discount codes.

Order and general enquiries via the webform are responded to within 24 hours during business hours only, 9.45am-4.30pm Monday-Friday excluding public holidays.  If your enquiry is relating to your order, you must quote your order number to enable a swift response.  All enquiries are dealt with in the order they are received.
